Result i AN ORDINANCE
An ordinance amending Chapter 33 of the Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City of 1913, relating to licenses, by adding after Sec-
tion 887 a new section to be known as Section 887x, providing for
a license tax to be paid by tailors.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Chapter 33, of the Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City of 1913, relating to licenses, be and the same is
hereby amended by adding after Section 887 a new section, said new
section to be known as Section 887x, and to read as follows:
SECTION 887x. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm,
company or corporation to engage in the business, occupation
or vocation of a tailor in Salt Lake City, without first
obtaining a license so to do. Leery person, firm, company or
corporation applying for a license to engage in such business, i
occupation or vocation shall before reoeiving such license,
pay into the city treasury of Salt Lake City a license tax of
10.00 per annum.
A tailor is hereby defined to be any person, firm, oom-
pany or corporation making olothi for men or women from

materials carried in stook, or #,eieee,,o'rders for such clothing
from samples or otherwise, such clothing to be made by some
other person, firm, company or corporation.
Provided, that nothing in this section shall apply to
any person, fx firm, company or corporation who or which pays
a merchant's license tax to Salt Lake City.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shell take effect e lst day
of October, 1915.
Passed by the Board of Commissio ere of Salt Lake City,
September 16th 1915.
