An ordinance amending and re-onactirg Sections 313, 314 and
317 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt hake City.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
C^;'IO' 1. That Sections 313, 314 and 317 of the Revised Ord-
inances of Salt Le City be, and the same are hereby amended and
re-enacted so as to read as follows:
SECTION 31:;. SAE OF LIQUOR RE A RIZTAURAT, HOT:.1L OR
BOARDING ROUSE KEEPER PRO'TITITI'D, It shall be unlawful for any
restaurant, hotel or boar dinhoude keeper to sell, give away
or in may manner dispose of any kind of intoxicating liquor;
provided, that all restaurants and hotels wdich have heretofore
taken out licenses for the sale of liquor under ordinances per-
mitting the same, may continue to sell such liquor subject to
the limitations of such ordinances and license until such li-
censes expire.
SECTION 314. SATE OF I' OXICATIEO LIQUORS 17 QTJP.mI'.l'Y

STORES WITTTOUT A LICH TC PROFT'ITID. It shall be unlawful for
any person conducting any wholesale or retail drug store or
stores in Salt Lake City, to sell or otherwise dispose of any
liquor or i.ntoxicatina drink of any kind, by the drink, to be
drunk on the premises, at any time. It shall also be unlawful
for any such person to sell or otherwise dispose of any liquor
or intoxicating drink in any bottle or package in quantity less
than five gallons, unless said person, firm or corporation
shall first have procured a druggist's license to sell liquors
as hereinafter provided. It shall likewise be unlawful for any
person to sell or otherwise dispose of any liquor or intoxi-
cating drink in quantity exceeding five gallons, unless such
person, firm or corporation shall first have procured a whole-
saler's license, as in this chapter provided. It shall also
be unlawful for any druggist or person employed in or about any
drug store having a druggist's license, to sell, ;give away or •
dispose of any intoxicating, liquor or drink in any manner or
form except in original packages or bottles containing not less;

SECTION 317. A1OT7ITTS TO BE PAID 0OR LIChi3^l'S. The fol-
lowing amounts shall be and are hereby established as the
quarterly charge for licenses under the provisions of this
ordinance and Chapter o:ry of the Revised Ordinances of Salt
Ike City, to-wit:
As a manufacturer :150.00
As a retail dealer 300.00
As a wholesale dealer 250.00
As a druggist 100.OJ
All said sums shall be payable strictly in advance;
provided, that in no case shall any payment made or license
issued, entitle tine licensee to conduct more than one place of
business thereunder.
