AN ORDINANCE amending and re-enacting Sections 313, 314 and 317 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City. BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of Salt Lake City,Utah: SECTION I. That Sections 313, 314 and 317 of the Revised Ordin- ances of Salt Lake City be, and the same are hereby amended and re-en- acted so as to read as follows: SECTION 313i SALE OF LIQUOR BY THE DRINK BY A gESTAURANT,HOTEI: OR BOARDING HOUSE-KIER PROHIBITED. It shall be unlawful for any restaurant, hotel or boarding-house keeper to sell, give away or in any manner dispose of any intcxioating liquor by the drink. Any such restaurant, hotel or boarding-house keeper may obtain a license to sell bottled wine, beer and malt liquors only, in bottles holding not less than one pint provided that the same be served with meals by taking out a license for 'bottled goods at retail" as hereinafter - i provided. SECTION. 314. SALE ON INTOXICATINGG LIQUORS IN QUANTITY EXCEEDING FIVE GALLONS OR LESS THAN ON74 HALF PINT BY DRUG STORES 'WITHOUT A LICENSE PR3:IBITED. It shall be unlawful for any person condlIcting any wholesale or retail drug store or stores in Salt Lake City, to sell or otherwise dispose of any liquor or intoxicating drink, of any kind, by the drink, to be drunk onn tth'ee premises, at any time. It shall also be unlawful for any je 'san to sell or otherwise dispose of any liquor or intoxicating drink in any bottle or package in quantity less than five gallons, unless said , firm or corporation shall first pr ocured t have a druggist's license to sell liquors as herein- after provided. It shall be likewise unlawful for any person to sell or otherwise dispose of any liquor or intoxicating drink in quantity exceeding five gallons, unless such person, firm or corporation shall first have procured a wholesaler's license, as in this chapter pro- vided. t I shall also be unlawful for any druggist or person employed in or about any drug store having a druggist's license, to sell, give away or dispose of any intoxicating,Aiquor or drink in any manner -2- or form except in original packages or bottles containing not less than one-half pint. 3IdCi'ION 2517.
