An ordinance creating the office of Second Assistant City
Attorney , fixing his salary and repealing the ordinance creating
the office of clerk of the City Justices Court:
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah,
Section 1., The office of Second A.^.cistaant Cily0AVtorney is
hereby created and his salary hereby fixed at woMpme Mincrcd
($ ..CC) Dollars per annum payable monthly as are the 414,?riee
Of other city officials.,
Section 2.. The City Attorney. shall have power to appoint,
during the term for which he is elected, and subject to eonfirktiora}
by the Council,. a oompetent person to the position of Second
Assistant City Attorney.
Section 3., The ordinance creating the office of clerk of the
City Justice's Court passed by the City Counoil Starch 31st, 1898
and a4gromIgiby the Mayor Aril let, 1896, is hereby repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall t',Wc effect upon approval.
