'AN ORDINANCE .
An ordinance prohibiting furniture vans, moving vans and
covered wagons from standing upon certain streets.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for the owner, driver or other
person having charge of any furniture van, moving van or other
covered wagon, - 1. & rr ,
to cause or permit the same to remain Or to stand upon any of the
following named streets in Salt Lake City, to-wit: Main Street from
South Temple Street to Market Street, First South, Second South and

Third South Streets from West Temple Street to State Street unless
the said van or wagon is eogagelyn receiving or delivering freight
or goods. Any person violating this ordinance shall be deemed
guilty of a misdemeanor, and, upon conviction thereof, shall be
(punished by a fine in any sum not exceeding one hundred ( 1.)00i
dollars, or by imprisonment not exceeding one hundred (100) days, or
by both such fine and imprisonment.
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed .
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon approval.
