Green Stewart �, G Mr. Chairman —I Result AN ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1791 of Chapter LVII, `re- vised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, 1920, relating to the depositing of material on the streets. Be it enacted by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: sECTION I. That section 1791 of Chapter LVII, Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1920, relating to the depositing of material on the streets, be and it is hereby amended to read as follows: SEC. 1891. D :POSITING MATERIAL ON STREETS PROHIBITED. It shall be unlawful for any person intentionally or carelessly to throw, cast, put into, drop or leave in any street, gutter, sidewalk or public place any stones, gravel, sand, coal, dirt, manure, garbage, leaves, lawn or hedge clippings or rubbish of any kind, or any other substance which shall render such highway unsafe or dangerous, or shall interfere with travel thereon or shall create an obstruction therein. SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners, it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants of Salt Lake City that this ordinance become effective immediately.
