Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION I. That Article 3 of Chapter VII, Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1934, relating to the division of sanita- tion inspection, be and the same is hereby amended by adding in and to said Article 3 a new section to be known as Section 149X, which shall read as follows: SEC. 149X. It shall be unlawful for any person owning or operating any pullman or other railroad car equipped with toilet facilities to permit any such car or cars to stand in any station yard or elsewhere in Salt Lake City without plac- ing under all toilets that are available to use by passengers or others soil cans containing a disinfectant and deodorant satisfactory to the Board of Health. All such soil cans shall be employed for temporary use only unless otherwise required by some existing emergency. The contents of all soil cans used shall be disposed of in a way and manner to be approved by the Board of Health. SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners, it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants of Salt Lake City that this ordinance shall take effect immediately. SECTION 3.
