Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That Section 30-1-2 of the Revised Ordi- nances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to salaries of cadets be, and the same hereby is, amended to read as follows: "Sec. 30-1-2. Salaries of cadets. The salary of a cadet shall be One Dollar and Seventy-five Cents ($1.75) per hour, not to exceed a nineteen hour work week, plus a fifteen dollar ($15.00) per month uniform allowance where a uniform is required." SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners it is necessary to the peace, health and welfare of the in- habitants of Salt Lake City that this ordinance become effective immediately. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first publication.
