AN ORDINANCE E Section 6-3-9 of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to cemetery fees.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 6-3-9 of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to cemetery fees, be,
and the same hereby is amended as follows:
Sec. 6-3-9. Fees. The City sexton shall collect from
those requiring his services, the following fees:
For opening and closing a single infant grave
of five feet in length or less $30.00
For opening and closing a single adult grave
for cement receptacle . 60.00
Removal of the remains of any deceased adult
person from one grave to another within the
city cemetery 160.00
Removal of the remains of any deceased adult
person for interment outside of the city
cemetery 100.00
Removal of the remains of an infant from one
grave to another within the city cemetery . , . 80.00
Removal of the remains of an infant for interment
outside the city cemetery 50.00
Soil for flower beds per grave 10.00
For all interments not completed by 3:00 p.m. on any
day a fee equal to two times the actual salary expenses
of the crew involved shall be charged in addition to any
other fees and costs provided in this title.
For any burial on a Saturday there shall be charged a
fee of $100, which shall be in addition to any other fees
and costs provided in this title.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect 30 days after
its first publication.
