That the City Council does hereby levy-the tax and ; provide for the assessment of the same upon the property hereinafter Idesdribed in Sidewalk Districts Nos. 20, 21 and 27, for the construc- t tion of cement sidewalks, to-wit: In Lots 1, 6, 7 and 8, Block 101; 5 and 6, Block 103; 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7, Block 104; 2, 3, 4 and 5, Block 113; 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7 and 8, Block 114; 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6, Block 115; 1 and 8, Block 116; 1, 6, 7 and 8, Block 119; 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8, Block 120; 1, 2, 5 and 6, Block 121; 1, 2, 3, 4 and 8, Block 132; 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8, Block 133; 1, 2, 3 and 4, Block 138; 1 and 2, Block 139, Plat "A"; 11, 2, 3 and 4, Block 5; 1 and 2, Block 6; 1, 2, 3 and 4, Block 22; 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, Block 23; 1 and 2, Block 27; 4, 5 and 6, Block 16; an, 1 and 2, Block 21, Plat "N", abutting on the west side of Third West Street between First North and Fourth North Streets; on the east side' of Third West Street between Second North and Fifth North Streets; oM 11 both sides of Third North Street between Center and Third West Streets; OR the east side of First West Street between Second North and Fifth North Streets; on the west side of First Test Street between Second North and Third North Streets; and between Fourth North and Fifth North Streets; on the south side of Fourth North Street between Fins West and Third West Streets; on the north side of Fourth North Strii# -2- between Center and Third West Streets; on the south side of Fifth North Street between Second West and Third ^lest Streets; on the north side of Fifth North Street between First West and Third West Streets; and on both sides of Pugsley Street between Fourth North and Fifth North Streets. This tax is levied to defray the expense of constructing cement sidewalks upon the property hereinbefore and hereinafter described to be especially affected and benefited by said ir.:provement, and it is hereby adjudged., determined and established that said property will be especially benefited thereby to the full amount of the tax hereby levied, and said parcels of land are hereby assessed at an equal and uniform rate in accordance with the linear foot frontage upon said portions of said streets fronting upon and to a depth of twenty-five (25) feet bank therefrom, and the tax hereby levied and to be assesses upon said parcels of land is seventeen thousand eight hundred eighteex and 73/100 ($17,818.73) dollars; sixteen thousand four hundred sixty- six and 73/100 ($16,466.73) dollars, or 8,71.3,744/10,000,000 (W0.87137441 dollars per front or linear foot of abutting property for sidewalks six (6) feet wide and four (4) inches thick, there being 18,897.42 feet abutting said portion of said improvement; and one thousand three hundred fifty-two ( 1,352.00) dollars, or 5,809,162/10,000,000 ($0.5809162) dollars per front or linear foot o abutting property for sidewalks four (41 feet wide and four (4) inch s thick, there being 2,327.35 feet abutting said portion of said im- provement, which is the total cost and cost per front foot of said sidewalks according to the contract entered into for the performance of said work and making said improvement, with James Kennedy Constru.- tion Company, dated the 12th day of July, 1909, and the Treasurer is hereby authorized and direoted to assess in accordance with the pro- visions of this ordinance for the purpose herein mentioned: Six Foot Sidewalks. Four Foot Sidewalks. The west side of the east 263 feet of Lots 1, 6, 7 and 8, and thb east aide of the west 1 foot of Lots 1, 6, 7 and 8, Block 133, Plat "A"; the north side of Lots 4, 5 and 6, Block 16; the south side of Lots 1 and 2, Block 21; end the south side of Lots 1, 2, and 3, Block 23, Plat "E", Salt Lake City Survey, as the same are shown upon the official plats of said city to a depth of twenty-five (25) feet back from said streets, and to collect said tax. SECTION 2. Said tax shall become and be delinquent in five ,Saal -4- yearly installments, with interest on the whole sum unpaid at the rate of six per cent per annum, payable at the time each installment is due, to-wit: One-fifth thereof one year after the approval of the ordinance confirming the levy of the tax for the payment for such im- provement; one-fifth thereof in two years after such approval; one- fifth thereof in three s.rs after such approval; one-fifth thereof in Ifetr years after sue 0provaa"T.and one-fifth thereof in five years after'gueh approval O e orthe:v*4f said installments; in the order is whioS they are payat;1e 'or the ylhole speoial tax4sy be paid at an time within thirty days',.after the approval of the oltilintincie Ioonfirmin c, the levy of the tax, withoRt interest.
