Result AN ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Sections 20-13-2 and 20-13-5 subsection (3) of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to private detective license, and amending Section 20-17-19 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to registration fee under the chapter pertaining to solicitation, peddling and sales promotion. Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That Sections 20-13-2 and 20-13-5 subsection (3) of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to private detective licenses, be, and the same hereby are, amended to read as follows: "Sec. 20-13-2. Application for license. Every person applying for a license under this chapter shall file an application with the Salt Lake City police department which shall contain the following information: (1) The name and address of the applicant, together with his age and experience. (2) If the applicant is a partnership, the requirements of the preceding subsection shall be given regarding each member of the partnership together with the name of the person who is to be in active charge of the partnership. (3) If the applicant is a corporation, the information required by subsection (1) of this section shall be given for each officer and active member of the corporation. (4) Each applicant, including members of a partnership and officers and employees of a corporation, shall file with the chief of police at the time of his interview a photograph and finger prints of himself. "Sec. 20-13-5. License fee. * * * "(3) For four persons, one hundred dollars per annum or any part thereof and for any additional personnel the fee shall be four dollars per person per annum." SECTION 2. Tht Section 20-17-19 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to registration fee under the chapter pertaining to solicitation, peddling and sales promotion, be, and the same hereby is, amended to read as follows: .32 -2- "Sec. 20-17-19. Id. Registration fee. The chief of police shall collect from each person registered at the time of regis- tration a registration fee in the sum of four dollars, which sum shall be remitted by the chief of police to the city treasurer." SECTION 3. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants of Salt Lake City, that this ordinance become effective immediately. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first publication.
