AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 32-9-9(d) OF THE REVISED
ORDINANCES OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, 1965, RELATING TO EXEMPTIONS.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 32-9-9(d) of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, is hereby amended to read as follows:
32-9-9(d). Exemptions. * * *
(a) * * *
(b) * * *
(c) * * *
(d) Noise resulting from lawful fireworks and noise-makers
used to celebrate Independence Day, Pioneer Day, New Year's Day
or any other holidays as designated in Section 25-11-10 of the
Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965.

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 9th day of December , 1980.
