134 of 1903 - Ordinance 134 of 1903 – Sewer Extension No. 124. AN ORDINANCE . An ordinance levying a tam and for the assessment of property on A Street from a point one hundred and sixty-five (165) feet north of South Temple Street to Second Street, in Sewer District No. 1, for the construction of a sewer. Bs it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah: SPCTION 1. That the City Council does hereby levy the tax and provide for the assessment upon the property hereinafter described abutting en A Street frame. point one hundred and sixty-five (165) feet north of South Temple Street to Seeond Street, in Seer Die- triot No. 1. This tax is levied to defray the expense of constructing * sewer upon said portion el said street opposite the property here- inafter described to be eepeoially affected and benefited by said improvement, and it is hereby adjudged, determined and established that the same will be especially benefited thereby to the full amount of the trot hereby levied, said said pssreslc of land are hereby assessed at an equal and uniform rate in a000rdanoe with the linear foot frontage upon said portion of said street fronting upon and to a depth of twenty-five ($5) feet back therefrom, and the tax hereby levied and to be assessed upon said parcels of land is six hundred and fifty-eight (4652.00) dollars, or /0/100 ($0.70) dollars per front or linear foot, and the Treasurer is hereby authorised and empowered to mesons in soaordanoe with the provisions of this ordi- nance for the purpose herein mentioned, all of Lot 3, Block 13; the south 140 feet of Lot 4, Block 14; the north 140 feet of Lot 1, and all of Lot 4, Block 15; and all of lots 2 and 3, Block 16, Plat *Dv, Salt Lake City Survey,as the acne are shown upon the offieial plats of said City to a depth of twenty-five (25) feet book from said street.
