Be it ordained by the BoeTd of Commissioners of Silt Lake
City, Utah:

does hereby levy the tsar and provide for the Dose scent of the .samo
upon the property hereinafter described. in. Sidewalk Districts Nos.

Thic tax is levied to defray- the expense of constructing
cement sidewalks (seid cement sidewalks to be six (6)• feet wide an
four (4) inches thich, on Uinth South Street, and five (5) feet
wide end four (4) inches thick upon other streets in said territor7 )
upon the portions of said streets oposite the property hereinbefoie
and hereinafter described to be especially affected and benefited bk
said improvement, and it is hereby adjudged, determined and estab-
lished that said property will be especially benefited. thereby to
the full amount of -the tax hereby levied, and said parcels of land
are hereby assessed et an equal sad uniform rate in accordance with
the linear foot frontage upon said portions of said streets fronti
upon end to a depth of twenty-five (25) feet back therefrom, and
the tax hereby levied and to be assessed upon said parcels of land
is eight thousand seven hundred seventy-three and 64/100
( 0,773.64) dollars; one thousand thirty-eight and 09/100 (01,038.8s)
dollars, or one and 85/1000(01.005) dollars per front or linear
foot of abutting property for sidewalk cix feet wide, there being
967.50 feet of aluttin property within the bnutetries of tie lots,
blocks nt street above mentioned; and seven thousand seven hundred
thirty-four and 76/100 (0,734.75) dollars, or 75/100 (4.75) dol-
lars per front or linear foot of ebuttitg property for sidewalks
five feet wide, there being 10, 13 feet of abutting ore)erty within

the boundaries of the lots, blocks and streets above mentioned in
said. districts, which. is the total cost and cost ,or front foot of

and the Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to assess, in

SECTION 2. Said tax shall become End be delinquent in five
equal yearly installments, with interest on the whole sum unpaid
at the r(-te of six °D or cent per annum payable at the time each in-
stallment is due, to-wit: One-fifth thereof one yec.r after the
ordinance confi_mini" the levy of the tax for the payment for such
improvement becomes effective; ono-fif'h. thereof in two years after
said ordinance becomes effective; one-fifth thereof in three years
after said ordinance becomes effective; one-fifth thereof in four
years after said ordinance becomes effective; and one-fifth there-
of in five ?ears after said ordin:-floe becomes effective. Ogre or

or the whole special tax, may be paid at a.iy time within thirty

special tax unpaid, may be paid on the day any installment becomes
due, by paying the amount thereof and interest to said date.
