Tenth and Twelfth South Streets, in raving Districts No. 31 and 32, sad in Paving Extension No. 83, for the pur_;ose of grading, ;uttering end curbing with cement, constructing drainage and irrigation systems across inter- sections and rack of curb, and -ea.ving thereof. Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of gait Lake City, Utah; SECTION 1. That the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City does hereby levy the tax and provide for the assessment of the same tr•,on the property hereinafter described in Paving District No. 32, for the purpose of grading, guttering and curbing with cement, constructing drainage and. irrigation systems across inter- • sections and back of curb, and paving thereof, itowit: In lots 12 to 21, inclusive, Block 1, A.sher & Snowden Addition; 13, -Block 3; 26 to 32, inclusive, Block 4, Alta Place Subdivision; 2 to 28, inclusive, Block 2, Nest Boulevard Addition; 1 to 8, inclusive, Block 1; 1. to 10, inclusive, Block 2; 1 to 10, inclusive, Block 3, Hackett's Lddition, all in Block 3, Five-acre Flat "A"; In Lots 13 and 14; 1 to 4, inclusive, Block 1; 1 to 10, inclusive Block 1 to 10, inclusive, Block 3; 1 to 10, inclusive, Block 4; 1 to 10, inclusive Block 5; 1 to 1.0, inclusive Block 6; Block 4, 1 to 10, inclusive, Block 7, Last :iaterloo Subdivision, all in/five- acre plat "A", Big field Survey, abutting on both sides of fifth East Street between Eleventh and Twelfth South Streets. This tax is levied to defray the expense of grading, gutter ing and. curbing with cement, constructing drainage and irrigation sy ims across intersections and beck of curb, building concrete con- duit for conveying arley's creek along the east side and across Fifth East Street, and saving with asphalt seven (7) inches thick and thirty-six (36) feet between curbs, that Portion of said street opposite the _property hereinbefore and hereafter described to be especially affected and benefited by said improvement, and it is hereby adjudged, determined. and_ established that said property will be especially benefited thereby to the full amount of the tax hereby levied, and said parcels of land are hereby accessed at an. equal and uniform rate in accordance with the linear foot frontage upon said portions of said street, fronting upon and. to a .depth of twenty-five (25) feet back therefrom, and the tax hereby levied and to be assess- ed upon said parcels of land is twenty-three thousand eight hundred thirty-nine and 87/100 (r23,839.87) Dollars, or five and 42/100 (; 5.42) dollars per front or linear foot of abutting property, there being 4396.50 feet abutting said portion of said improvement, within the boundaries of the lots, blocks .,.,u7. street above mentioned in said district, which. is the total cost and cost per front foot of said im- provement, according to the contract entered into for the performance of said work and risking said improvement, with P. J. Aid tax shall become and be.del:inquent in ten e,_ual yearly installments, with interest on the whole curl Unpaid at 1 - the rate of six per coat. er annum, payable at the time east install- ment is due, towit: One-tenth thereof one year after the ordinance -2- confirming the levy of the tax for the payment for such improve- ment becomes effective; one-tenth thereof in two years after said ordinance becomes effective; one-tenth thereof in three years after said ordinance becomes effective; one-tenth thereof in four years after said ordinance becomes effective; one-tenth thereof in five years after said ordinance becomes effective; one-tenth thereof in six years after said ordinance becomes effective; one-tenth there- of in seven years after said ordinance becomes effective; one-tenth thereof in eight years after aaid ordinance becomes effective; one- tenth thereof in nine yee.fs after said ordinance becomes ef£ectivejand one-tenth thereof in ten years after said ordinance becomes effective. One or more installments, in the order in which they are, payable, or the whole special tax, may be maid at any tine within thirty days after the ordinance confirming the levy of the tax becomes effective, without interest. In the event of any installment, or the interest aforesaid, not being paid_ on ehe date the sane becomes due, the Whole amount of the special tax unpaid at to tire said installment and interest are due, shall become due and payahl.e, and shall draw interest at the rate of eight per cent. per annu_:i until the sale of the property assessed; y:•rovided, one or more installments, in the order in which they are payable, or the whole special tax unpaid, may be eeid on the day any installment becomes due, by paying the amount thereof and interest to said date.
