AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Section 33-2-10 of the Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to disposition of obsolete and
worn-out property.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 33-2-10 of the Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to disposition of obsolete and
worn-out property, be, and the;same hereby is amended as follows:
"Sec. 33-2-10. Disposition of obsolete and worn-out property.
All obsolete and worn-out property, subject to inspection and
approval by the city purchasing agent, or other properly authorized
officials, shall be deleted from the inventory records and removed
to a central warehouse for final disposition. Such property may
be traded in on new equipment, sold after notice either at public
auction or by sealed written bid, salvaged for materials and parts,
disposed of as junk, or destroyed."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect 30 days after its
first publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 12th day of August, 1976.
