Cire�p � Hogensen ��• ��-I/G �� ► Phillips Result A ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Section 51-2-3 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, by adding thereto a new subsection (1) ; AMENDING Chapter 21 of Title 51, of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, by adding thereto a new section to be known as Sec. 51-21-9; AMENDING Section 51-22-5 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, by adding thereto a new subsection (2) ; AMENDING Chapter 23 of Title 51, of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, by adding thereto a new section to be known as Sec. 51-23-8, all relating to zoning. Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That Section 51-2-3 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to zoning definitions, be, and the same hereby is, amended by adding thereto a new subsection (1) , to read as follows: Sec. 51-2-3(1) ARCADE. "Arcade" shall mean any licensed business premise where there are three or more coin-operated amusement devices which are available for the use of the public. SECTION 2. That Chapter 21 of Title 51, of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1d65, relating to Business "B-3" District, be, and the same hereby is, amended by adding thereto a new section 51-21-9, to read as follows: Sec. 51-21-9. ACCESSORY USES. To keep and maintain not over two licensed coin-operated amusement devices on the licensed business premises. SECTION 3. That Section 51-22-5 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to Commercial "C-1" District, be, and the same hereby is, amended by adding thereto a new subsection (2) to read as follows: Sec. 51-22-5(2) . The Board of Adjustment may permit as a conditional use the following: To keep and maintain from three to nine licensed amusement devices on the licensed business premise having due regard for the character of the neighborhood, the distance of the conditional use from any residential use on adjoining properties, the main permitted use and its relation to the conditional use in terms of floor space and dollar volume and such other factors the Board shall deem relevant. 1.36 -2- SECTION 4. That Chapter 23 of Title 51, of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to Commercial "C-2" District, be, and the same hereby is, amended by adding thereto a new section 51-23-8, to read as follows: Sec. 51-23-8. ACCESSORY USES AND CONDITIONAL USES. Accessory uses and conditional uses shall be the same as those permitted in a Commercial "C-1" District. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect 30 days after its first publication.
