AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Section 19-2-19 of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, as amended, relating to fixing the
boundaries of liquor license districts, be, and the same hereby is,
amended as follows:
SECTION 1. The following described parcel of real property
located within the district "B" classification of liquor license
districts on the Official City Map No. 19372, known as the Brewery
Mall located at approximately 1100 West and Second South, which
includes the area from Tenth West Street west to the Jordan River
and from South Temple south to Second South Street, more particu-
larly described below, is hereby reclassified to a liquor license
district "A" classification and the Official City Map No. 19372 is
hereby amended and changed accordingly.
Beginning at the Southeast corner of Block 43,
Plat "C", Salt Lake City Survey; thence North
along the West line of 1000 West Street, 1,518
feet more or less to the centerline of the now
vacated South Temple Street; thence West along
said centerline 880 feet more or less to the
East bank of the Jordan River; thence Southerly
along the East bank of the Jordan River 1,518
feet more or less to the North line of Second
South Street; thence East along the North line
of said street 932 feet more or less to the
point of Beginning.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days
after its date of first publication.
Passed by the Board of City Commissioners on the 18th day of
October , 1979.
