An orCinance providing a highway through the corporate limits
of Salt Lake City, and so far as its MOW jurisdiction extends with
out eeit Cite, over which cattle, horses, sheep and hogs may be
driven, and making it unlavrful to drive more than be}zuch animals
through any other streets or hi;,hway, of sa'.d. city. /
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
' City, Utah:
SECTICii 1. That she following streets and highways are here-
by designated and urovided, over and along which cattle, horses,
sheep and hog.s may be driven dt roue h t'Le corporate limits of Salt
Lake City, vie.:- Beginning on the street or highway known as Red
wood Road, on the south line of Said Lake City at T;clfth South,
Street, thence north on said Redwood. Road to North Temple Street
.where the continuation of said Redwood Road is known as Camps'Lane
Road, thence north on said Camps' Lane Road to the center of Sec-
tion 22, To:rnship 1 north, Runge 1 west, thence west along a street,
highway or rood to the west line of said Section 22, the some bein:
I'I the western limit of Salt Lake City at tat, point. Also beginning
at the junction of Korth Temple Street with said Redwood Road,
thence ';rest along said i;orth Temple Street to the limits of Salt
Lake City at that point.
Al; o be;tinning at the north end of that is known as Highway
No. 26 West, outside the limits. of Suit Lake City ands.. in Salt Lake
County, thence north to the north line of Section 9,.To..-nahir 1
north, _ante 1 -rest, thence east across the Jordan River into Davi-.
County and along a highway which runs _crtly over land controlled
by Salt Lake City.

SECTION 3. Any person violating any of the provisions of
this ordinance shsll, upon conviction thereof, be punihed by e
fine in u.ny sum not exceeding fifty dollars, or by impric,onment
for a period not longer than thirty Boys.
The court may in irrno0+i0g s. fine enter us e part of .n.e judg-
ment thct in default; of the pa ment of the fine the defendant may
be imprisoned for L period not excoediu p thirty drys.
