AN O R D I N A N C E .
An ordinance amending and re-enacting Section 456 of the Re-
vised Ordinances of Salt Lake City of 1903.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECT ?N 1. That Secicn , :55 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt
Lake C.ty,,of 1903, be, rand the s ie hereby is amended and re-enact-
edi s _aa to read as follows:
SECTION 455. "' 'l2ERg43NAT NG AN OFFICER. ACT ING OR ATTE!1IAT-
r •:`]LNG TO ACT AS SPP IATr fOiICF,,`•,.DTFICER. It shall,,he unlawful
;fob any person tafalsely€ represent himself to be an officer

,,,13044 City, or without authority, to perform any official act,
for or in behalf of said officer". And it shall be unlawful
for any person appointed a special police officer to actmmit
o,r attempt to act as such officer at any other place in the
City than the place where he was appointed to act;, or to act
or attempt to act as such officer who was appointed prior to
Sanuary 1, 1906; or to act or attempt to act as such officer
after one year from his appointment; or to wear any star or
ether insignia of such office at any other place than the
place where he was by his appointment to act; or to wear any
such star or other insignia of office after one year from his
appointment to such office.
V SECTION, 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon approval.
