An ordinance amending and re-enacting Section 153 of the
Revised Or6inances of Salt Loa° City of 1903, relating to the City
Engineor, .,.):J(.1 repealing all ordinances ana resolutions in conflict

Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lke City,
lltah:
SECTIOL 1. That Section 153 of the iZovised Ordinances of Salt
Lake City of 1903, be, L-11,,1 the same is lereby emended and re-enacted
so as to read an follows:
SEC 'ION 103. It shall be the duty of the City Engf.neor
to locate the lines and grades of all streets and sidewals,
alleys, avenues or other public ways, 0101 to determine the
position, size and construction of all sewers, waterworks,
irrigation or drainage canals, reservoirs, culverts, aqueducts, ,
bridges, viaducts, or other public work or aiTurtenances, and
to prepare plans, maps or profiles of the same, and, to make
estimates and furnish specifications for any of said work,
whenever reouired to do so by the Board of Co. issionors of
