Result AN ORDINANCE
An ordinance amending Section 545 of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City of 1913, with reference to salaries of deputies
and assistants of the City Auditor, as amended by an ordinance
passed by the Board of Commissioners July 27, 1916.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 545 of the Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City of 1913, with reference to salaries of deputies
and assistants of the City Auditor, as amended by an ordinance
passed by the Board of Commissioners July 27, 1916, be, and the
same is hereby amended so as to read as follows:
SECTION 545. APPOINTIvNTS. DEPUTIES. ASSIST:NTS.
The Board of Commissioners shall appoint a competent
person to the position of deputy auditor, at a salary of
not exceeding $2100.00 per annum.
In the absence of or during the disability of the
City Auditor, the deputy auditor shall exercise all the
functions and powers of the City Auditor. He shall give
bond to the city in the sum of 4,000.00.
The Board of Commissioners may appoint or employ such
accountants, clerks and other employees as may be necessary
for the proper conduct of such office, at such salaries as
may be designated by the Board of Commissioners, and all of

said. salaries shall be paid monthly.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect thirty-one
days after its passage.
