AN ORDINANCE

AN ORDINANCJT MAKING ADDITIONL APPROPRIATIONS for the
support of the city government for the year 1926.
De it ordained b the Board of Commissioners of salt
Lake City, Utah:
SECTION I. That the following sums of money or as much
thereof as may be necessary be and the same are hereby appropriated
out of any money in the City Treasury not otherwise appropriated
for the support of the various departments indicated for the calen-
dar year ending December 31, 1926. Said appropriations are further
itemized in the requests on file for such appropriations and are,
in addition to those heretofore made by ordinance passed by the
Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, December 31, 1925,
to-wit:
PUBLIC SAFETY.
Fire Department {5,000.00
Board of wealth 1,500.00
PARKS AND PUBLIC PROPBRTY.
Parks 2,055.80
LTATUTORY AND GENERAL.
Water Bond Election, 1919-20 . . . . 307.50
Discount on tax notes 400.00
STREETS AND PUBLIC II PROTIIMENTS.
Improvements (City's portion) . . . 13,267.87
WATER SUPPLY AND WATER WORKS.

SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners,
it is m eessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants
of Salt Lake City, that this ordinance become effective immediate-
ly.
SECTION O. This ordinance shall take effect at once
upon its publication.
