Mr.Chairman Ir AN ORDINANCE I Result AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 6714 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1944, as amended by ordinances passed by the Board of Commissioners, relating to Zoning, and a public hearing having been held. Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah. SECTION 1. That Section 6714 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1944, as amended by ordinances passed by the Board of Commissioners, relating to Zoning, be and the same is hereby further amended by adding in and to said section one new paragraph to be known as Item 130, which item shall read as follows: "ITEM NO. 130. The following described real property as shown on the use district map, is hereby changed to the classification hereinafter set out, and said map is amended and changed accordingly. Changing the following described property from Residential "A-3", Residential "B-3" and "Industrial" to Residential "A". "Commencing at a point 24 feet south of the southwest corner of the NW4, Sec. 26, T1N, R1W, SLBM, said point being 135 feet east of Colorado Street on the north line of 9th North Street; thence east 912 feet, more or less, to a point 158.125 feet west of llth West Street; thence south 233 feet to the south line of Lot 23, Block 18, • YI Oakley Park Subdivision; thence east 408 feet, more or less, to the northsouth.o.an.tese line._of the...east_ 'i of Sec. 26, T1N, R1W, SLB&M; thence north 233 feet to the north line of 9th North Street; thence h-s east 1,938 feet, more or less along the north line of 9th North St. to a point 500 feet west of west boundary of proposed North-South Freeway, as shown on Official. Map #2, of Salt Lake City, thence North 550 feet; thence east 500 feet to west boundary of said Free- way; thence northwesterly 3,300 feet along west boundary of said proposed Freeway; thence west 1,450 feet, more or less, to the east line of the Salt Lake City Sewage Treatment Plant Right of Way; thence north 567 feet more or less, to the south boundary of the proposed Salt Lake City Sewage Treatment Plant; thence west 2,750 feet; thence north 350 feet; thence west along Prince Avenue 500 feet, more or less, to a point on the west line of the Jordan River; thence south meandering along the Jordan River 4,500 feet, more or less, to a point opposite the north line of 9th North Street to the east; thence east 935 feet, more or less, to the east line of Catherine Street; thence north 156 feet; thence east 483 feet; thence south 156 feet; thence east 336 feet to the same place of beginning. The above being a part of Sections 22, 23, 26 and 27 of T1N, R1W, SLBM. 14 SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners, it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants of Salt Lake City that this ordinance shall become effective immediat:>ly; therefore, this ordinance shall become effective upon its first publication.
