AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Section 43-6-1, sub-section 2, of the Revised
Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to mileage rates for
taxicabs.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah:
SECTION' l. That Section 43-6-1, sub-section 2, of the Revised
Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to mileage rates
for taxicabs be amended to read as follows:
"(2) Mileage rates: Forty-five cents for the first one-third
mile or fraction thereof: ten cents for each additional one-third
mile or fraction thereof.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners it is
necessary to the peace, health, and safety of the inhabitants of Salt
Lake City that this ordinance become effective immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, this
28th
day of March, 1967.
