AN ORDINANCE VACATING a 5 foot strip of property on the South
Side of 6th South Street between 900 and 1000 West Streets.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION 1,. That that five (5) foot strip of property on the ,
south side of-'6th South`4treet between 900 and 1000CWest Streets,':.
more particul'l'y described as follows, be, and the same hereby is
vacated and de`c1ared no,l9nger to be public property: for use as
a street, avenue, a iley1br,.pedestrian way:
Beginning at the;Northwest corner of Block 16,
Plat "C", Salt' Lake City Survey, and running
thence North 5-feet; thence East 660 feet;
thence South 5-feet to the Northeast corner of i '
said Block 16; thence West 660 feet to the
point of beginning.
Contains 0.076 acres, more or less.
Said vacation is made expressly subject to all existing rights
of way and easements of all public utilities in, on, under or over
the confines of the above described property, and also subject to
the rights of entry thereon for the purpose of maintaining, , repair-
ing, replacing, removing, altering or rerouting said utilities and
all of them.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners it
is necessary to the peace, health and welfare of the inhabitants
of Salt Lake City that this ordinance become effective immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 28th day of January, 1975.
