An ordinance amending Section 1330 of Chapter 61 of the
S
Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City of 1913, relating to Water
Supply and Water Works.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt hake
City, Utah;
SECTIO1C 1. That Section 1330 of Chapters 61 of the
Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1913, be and the same 1!
hereby is amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows.:
Sec. 1330..Fmployes. Appointment. Compensation. The
Board of Commissioners may appoint and employ the following
assistants, deputies, clerks and employes in the department
of water supply and waterworks.
One chief clerk, at a salary of $1,500 per annum, who
shall, before assuming the duties of his office, take and
subscribe the constitutional oath of office and shall give a
bond to Salt hake City in the sum of $1,000, conditioned as
required by law;
One clerk at a salary of 01,020 per ammum;
One stenographer at a salary of $900.00 per annum;
One assessor at at salary of $1,500 per annum;
One inspector at a salary of 01,050 per annum;
One inspector at a salary of 0900 per annum;
One storekeeper at a salary of $900 per annum; the salaries
of all of whom shall be paid monthly as are the salaries of
other em_aoyees.

Two repairers at a salary of $1,200 each per annum;
One plumber at a salary of $1,320 per annum;
One meter man at a salary of $1,320 per annum;
One assistant meter man at a salary of 01,080 per annum;
Two runners at .a, salary of $1,020 each per annum;
.even laborers at a salary of $900 each per annum;
Four emergency men at a. salary of $1,020 each. per annum;
• One distributor et a salary of 01,200 per annum;
One assistant distributor at a salary of $960 per annum;;
One tap inspector at a salary of $1,080 per annum;
Two patrolmen for Jordan and Salt Lake Canal at a salary of
$960 each per annum;
One patrolman for Cottonwood Canyon at a. salary of $960
per annum;
Three Patrolmen for Parley's Canyon at a salary of $960 each
per annum;
One patrolman for City Creek Canyon at a. salary of 0960
per annum;
One emergency patrolman for Emigration Canyon for four months
in the year at a, salary of $80 per month;
Twelve tankmen et a salary of 0780 each per annum;
Three inspectors for supplementary assessment and inspection
at a salary of $75 each per month;cnd such other employes, laborers
and equipment as may be necessary for the proper conduct of the
said department.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect on and. after
January 1, 1914.
