An ordinance providing for the control, inspection and
supervision of the water-shed lends, canals, water sources and
measurement of waters of the city. '
no it ordained by the Beard of Commissioners of Salt
Lake City, Utah;
u:,'Cf i ON 1. It is and shall be the duty of the City
Engineer under direction of the Board of Commissioners, tit in-
spect, have charge of and supervise the water-shed lends, c anals,
and water sources of Salt Lake City, end to keep account of the
dondition of the same and the happening of events affecting the
same, and to keep the Board of Commissioners informed in regard
to the needs and conditions thereof.
