AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Section 144.1 of the Traffic Code of Salt
Lake City to provide for a reference to a new Traffic Schedule 14-L,
Parking Prohibited At All Times Except On Sundays And Holidays and
creation of Traffic Schedule 14-L.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 144.1 of the Traffic Code of Salt Lake
City, Utah, relating to parking prohibited except on Sunday and Holidays,
be, and the same hereby is, amended to read as follows:
"Sec. 144.1. Parking prohibited at all times except on
Sunday and legal holidays. When signs or traffic markings are
erected or in place, giving notice thereof, no person shall
park a vehicle or permit such vehicle to remain standing at
any time, except on Sunday or on any legal holiday, upon
any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule
14-L, attached hereto and made part of this code.
SECTION 2. That Schedule 14-L is hereby created to read as follows:
"SCHEDULE 14-L
Refer Section 144.1
PARKING PROHIBITED AT ALL TIMES EXCEPT
ON SUNDAY AND LEGAL HOLIDAYS
University Street, east side, from 100 South Street
to 400 South Street."
SECTION 3. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners it is
necessary to the peace, health and welfare of the inhabitants of Salt Lake
City that this ordinance become effective immediately.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first publi-
cation.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 26th day of November, 1974.
