perty on Z. C. M. I. Avenue between Second and Third West Street in
Paving District No. 28 (Paving Extension No. 172) for the purpose

BE IT ORDAINED by the Board o f Commissioners o f Salt
Lake City, Utah:
SECTION I. That the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City does hereby levy the tax and provide for the assessment of
the same upon the property hereinafter described in Paving Distriot
No. 28 (Paving Extension No. 172) for the purpose of grading, Ill
paving with concrete, c s-t x1tnr unite ew; to-wit:
In Lots 7, 8, 4 and 3 of Blook 79, Plat A, Salt Lake City
Survey, abutting on both sides of Z. C. M. I. Avenue between Second
and Third West Street, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
This tax is levied to defray the expense of grading, r.,_i,1.
paving with o oxcrete, a - ; (said pavement
to be thirty (30) feet wide and nine (9) inches thick), the portions
of said street opposite the property hereinbefore and hereinafter
described to be especially affected and benefited by said improvement,
and it is hereby adjudged, determined and established that said
property will be especially benefited thereby to the full amount
of the tax hereby levied, and said parcels of land are hereby assess-
ed at an equal and uniform rate in accordance with the linear foot

!frontage upon said portions of said street fronting upon and to
. jja depth of fifty (50) feet back therefrom, and the tax hereby j

jing to the contract entered into for the performance of said I
!work and making said improvement with Enoch Smith, dated the 11
8th day of July, 1920, and the Treasurer is hereby authorized an4
directed to assess in accordance with the provisions of this
ordinance for the purpose herein mentioned:

SECTION II. Said tax shall became and be delinquent
in ten equal yearly installments, with interest on the whole j

time each inatallment is due, to-wit: One-tenth thereof one yea

effective. One or more of said installments, in the order in
hit% they are payable, or the whole special tax may be paid at
•y time Within ten days after the ordinance oonfirming the levy
of the tax becomes effective, without interest. In the: event
lof any installment or the interest aforesaid not being paid on
thee date the same becomes due, the whole amount of the special
tax unpaid at the time said installment and interest are due,
!shall become due and payable and shall draw interest at the rate
of eight per cent per annum until the sale of the property
amassed; provided one or mare installments in the order in
ich they ore payable, or the whole special tax unpaid, may be
maid on the day any installment beocmes due, by paying the amoun
thereof and interest to said date.
$BCTION III. This ordinance shall talcs effect one day
after its first publication.
