AN ORDINANCE AMENDING the ordinance levying a tax for the assess-
ment of property in Curb and Gutter Extension No. 461-1, designated
as Bill No. 39 of 1975, passed on the 22d day of April, 1975.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah:
SECTION 1. That that certain ordinance levying a tax for the
assessment of property in Curb and Gutter Extension No. 461-1, desig-
nated As Bill No. 39 of 1975, passed on the 22d day of April, 1975,
be, and the same hereby is, amended by amending the third to last
paragraph of Section 1 thereof, to read as follows:
"The tax hereby levied and assessed is in the total
sum of $296,638.62 and consists of $7,567.93, or $14.75
per linear or front foot of abutting property for con-
structing 513.08'feet of 4-foot sidewalk, curb and
gutter, 16 foot paving and miscellaneous (Rate No. 1);
$260,750.11; or $12.49" per linear or front foot of
abutting property for constructing 20,876.71' feet of
curb and gutter, 16 foot paving and miscellaneous (Rate
No. 2) ; and $28,320.58'for constructing private driveways."
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners it is
necessary to the peace, health and welfare of the inhabitants of Salt
Lake City that this ordinance become effectively.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 4th day of December, 1975.
