An ordinance amending Section 666 of the Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City of 1913 as amended by an ordnance passed by the
Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, February 26, 1915,
relating to appointments of deputies, assistants and olerks in the
offioe of the City Recorder of Salt Lake City, Utah.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Seotion 666 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt
Take City of 1913, as amended by an ordinance passed by the Board
of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, February 26, 1915, relating to
appointments of deputies, assistants and clerks in the office of the
City Recorder of Salt Lake City, Utah, be, and the same is hereby
amended to read as follows:
SECTION 666. APPOINTMENTS, DEPUTIES, ASSISTANTS, CLERKS.
There are hereby appointed in the office of the City Recorder
of Salt Lake City, the following deputies, assistants and
clerks:
One chief deputy reoorder at a salary of not exceeding
$1800.00 per annum.
In the absence of or during the disability of the City
Recorder, the ohief deputy reoorder shall exercise all the
functions and powers of the city recorder. He shall give a
bond to the City in the sum of $1,000.00.

One deputy recorder who shall act as clerk of the pity
courts, at a salary of not exceeding 01,320.00 per annum; --
Two deputy recorders who shall act as clerks of the city
oourts, et a salary of not exceeding 01,200.00 each per annum
One deputy recorder who shell act as clerk of the city
oourts, at a salary of not texaxmsatt exceeding 41,080.00 per
annum;
One chief clerk at a salary of not exceeding $1,59,0,.00
per annum;
One clerk at a salary of not exceeding 01,200..00 per
annum;
One stenographer for the reoorder`s office at a salary
not exceeding 4900.00 per annum.
Two olerks for the criminal division of the city court,
at a salary of not exceeding 01,080.00 each per annum;
All of which salaries shall be paid monthly.
SECTION 2. All ordinances and resolutions and parts of ordi-
nances and resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed t.
the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its fitst
