Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That Sections 2-2-20, 2-2-25, 2-2-26 and 2-2-27 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, as amended, relating to airport fees, be, and the same hereby is, amended as follows: Sec. 2-2-20. Landing Fees. (a) There is hereby imposed on every operator engaged in the business of trans- porting by air persons or property for hire, including travel clubs, common carriers, contract carriers, foreign air carriers, and charter operators, a landing fee for each aircraft (fixed wing) landing made at Salt Lake City International Airport computed by multiplying $.52 by the number of thousands of pounds or fraction thereof certified maximum gross landing weight as defined in the Federal Air Regulations of the aircraft whether the aircraft is actually in revenue service or not, or a minimum of $4.50 per landing. (1) * * * * * * Sec. 2-2-25. Tie-down fees. A. Monthly tie-down fees, for Airport based aircraft 1. Aircraft weighing less than 12,500 pounds $20.00 2. Aircraft weighing 12,500 pounds and above but less than 45,000 pounds $30.00 3. Aircraft weighing 45,000 pounds and above $60.00 B. Transient Tie-Down Fees. 1. Per day a. Per week a. Aircraft weighing less than 12,500 pounds $15.00 b. Aircraft weighing 12,500 pounds and above but less than 45,000 pounds $25.00 c. Aircraft weighing 45,000 pounds and above $60.00 3. Per month a. Aircraft weighing less than 12,500 pounds $45.00 b. Aircraft weighing 12,500 pounds and above but less than 45,000 pounds $75.00 c. Aircraft weighing 45,000 pounds and above $175.00 Sec. 2-2-26. Terminal use fees. There is hereby imposed on any person, firm or corporation using the passenger terminal facilities of Salt Lake City International Airport for enplaning or deplaning passengers into or from transport type aircraft the following fees for the use of aircraft apron facilities, baggage claim facilities, and other common and public use facilities in said passenger terminal facilities: (a) For use of any of the joint bag claim facilities and passenger terminal units on the west side of the Salt Lake City International Airport for more than 22 flights in a calendar month a use fee computed by multiplying $.22 by the number of passengers enplaned. (b) For use of any of the passenger terminal units on the west side of Salt Lake City International Airport for 22 or less flights in a calendar month. (1) If only the customs and immigration facilities or unassigned gatehold position are used, a use fee of $275.00 per flight. (2) If the customs and immigration facilities, or an unassigned gatehold position and other terminal facilities are used, a use fee of $450.00 per flight. (c) For use of the executive terminal on the east side of Salt Lake City International Airport, a use fee of $275.00 per flight. (d) Any airline having a valid and existing (not terminated or expired) agreement with Salt Lake City Corporation covering the use of baggage claim space in a terminal unit on the west side of Salt Lake City Inter- national Airport shall be exempt from the use fees imposed by this section 2-2-26. _1 Y) • -3- Sec. 2-2-27. Use fee, exclusive use space, terminal. Space in any of the terminal units on the west side of Salt Lake City International Airport used exclusively by the occupant shall be occupied and used and charges for the use thereof established pursuant to agreement with or permit from Salt Lake City Corporation, but there is hereby imposed on any person, firm or corporation holding over and not surrendering any such space previously used or occupied under said agreement or permit after the expiration or other termination of said agreement or permit a use fee of $.99 per month per square foot for space in the basement or baggage make-up space and $1.98 per month per square foot for all other space. Payment of said use fee or acceptance of payment of said use fee shall not be construed as creating any type of tenancy whatsoever or as authorizing the continued use or occupancy of such space.
