Article 9. It is further agreed upon and nadm a part of

this franchise that the Citizens Heating: n ower Company, its r.uncessors
or assigns, shall lap, at least four miles of steam main, prior to
October lst,A.D.,1907.,. or that part of I;his franchise which particularly
specifies. this right or consession in this orainane or franchise, shall
be forfeited bv the Citizens Heating a Power Company, its successorsor assinno.

' successors and assigns, shall on or before December 10th,1906, execute a

bond to 6alt Lake City ..in the sum of Twenty-five Thousand (:25,000.00)
Dollars, with surety, subject to the aloval of the City Council, in lien
of the bond heretofore riven hT,7 ssd zrantce, comaitioned as provided in
Article 2 of the franchise to said grantee, passed leptenher 18th,1905, and
approved 6eptember 21st,1905.
