AN ORDINANCE..
An ordinance amending and re-enacting an ordinance passed
by the City Council of Salt Lake City, January 1, 19124. and appro -
ed by the Mayor, January 1, 1912, amending and re-enacting an
ordinance granting a franchise to the Emigration Railroad Company
approved iebruary 5, 1908.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTIOI 1. That the following provision appearing in a
franchise granted the Emigration Railroad Company, passed by the
City Council and approved by the I1ayor of Salt Lake City, January
1, 1912, towit:
"Provided further that the road to be built hereunde
shall be completed as far so uth as Tenth South Street,
within two years from the date of this ordinance; other-
wise this franchise shall be null and void."
be amended so that the same shall read as follows:
"Provided further that the road to he built hereunde
shall be completed as far south as Tenth South Street,on
or t the first day of Janu^ry,1915;otherwise this fran-
chise shall be null and void.''
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect on the 1st
day of January, 1914.
