This tax is levied to defray the expense of operating

SECTION II. Said tax shall bee see and be delinquent in
thirty days after this ordinance boo fines effective. The whole
tax may be paid within thirty days after this ordinance becomes
effective, and if so paid, a discount of three per cent will be
,allcured thereon. Default in payment of Bach tax when due shall
'cause the whole of the same to bee ome payable immediately, and
the whole amount thereof shall thereafter draw interest at the
;rats o f 8 per cent per annum until the day o f s ule, but at any
time prior to the day of sale the amount o f said tax m3,y be paid:
together with interest at the rate of eight per cent per annum,
!together with accrued costs.
SECTION III. This ordinance shall take effect one day
after its first publi eat Lon.
