jj An ordinance amending and re-enacting Section 148 of the. Re-
vised Ordinances of Salt hake City of 1903.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 148 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt
take-City of 1903fzbe, ;and the same hereby is amended and re-enact-
ed so as, to reed As follows:
SECTIOl 143. 1 shall he unlawful for ably person to
keep, own,or .possess, a f'I.errbe, dangerous, vi°eiouti ar mis-
II chtevous dog within the liMits ,of Salt Lake City. The:Chief
of'Folice.of Said City is hereby authorized te'kill or cause:
to be killsd;all fierel, dangerous, vicious or"'mischievo s
des found' withinthe limits of said City. In pursuance of
his duty in this regard, he :is authorized to enter the prom-
ises of any one keeping such floret, dangerous, vicious o?r
mischievous dog, impound and remove such dog.
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon approval.
