158 of 1904 - Ordinance 158 of 1904 – Amending Section 753 providing for appointment and fixing salaries of assi AN ORDINANCE Amending Section 753 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City,I903, Providing for the Appointment and Fixing the SalRriea of Assistants in the Office of the Treasurer. Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Section I. That Section 753 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: 753. Assistants. Appointments. Compensation. The Treasurer shall have power to appoint during the term for whioh he is elected, subject to confirmation by the City Council,the following assistants, who shall hold office until the Monday next succeeding the expiration of the term of office of the appointing power: One deputy treasurer at a salerxy of Thirteen hundred and eighty dollars sper annum; -''One clerk at a salary of Twelve hundred dollars per annum; One collector of licensee at a salary of Twelve hundred dollars per annum; ,e/DXa=" One assistant collector of licenses at a salary of dollars per annum; ,¢/tea One collector of delinquent water rates at a sale of Nine itandred dollars per annum such salaries shall be paid monthly as are the salaries of other city officers. sec 2. All ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby ruled. 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon approval.
