Result AN ORDINANCE
An ordinance amending Section 841 of the Revised Or.inances of
Salt hake City of 1913, relating to enforcement of collection of
licenses.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 841 of the Revised 0rc inances of Salt
Lake City of 1913, relating to enforcement of collection of licenses,
be, and the sumo is hereby amen^ed by adding thereto a new paragraph
to be known as "7', said paragraph to read as: follow+s:
7. If any person, firm or corporation shall neglect,
fail or refuse to pay the amount assessed when it becomes due
on any license mentioned or provided in this ordinance, for a
period of fifteen days after the date on ,which said license
becomes due and payable, a penalty of ten per cent of the
amount of such license shall be added to the original amount
and. the same shall be collected by the assessor and tse payment
thereof enforced by him in the same manner as other licenses
are collected and payment thereof is enforced.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
