An ordinance amending and re-enactire Section 24 of the Revised
Ordinances of Salt Lake City of 1903, as amended by an ordinance passed
by the City Council February 10, 1903, end. approved by the Mayor Feb-
ruary II, 1908.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 24 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt
Lake City of 1903, as amended by an ordinance passed by the City Counl-
cil February 10, 1908, and approved by the Mayor February 11, 1908,
be, and the same is hereby hssi.elry amended and re-enacted so as to
read as follows:
SECTION 24. The City Auditor shall have power to appoint,
subject to the confirmation of the City Council, a oomeetent perk--
son to the position of'Deputy Auditor, at a salary of fifteen
hundred (561500.00) dollars per annum.
In the absence of, or during the disability of the City
Ii Auditor, the Deputy Auditor shall exercise all the functions an
powers of the City Auditor. he ::hall `ive bond to the City in j
the sum of five thousand ( 5,000.00) dollars.
One Deputy License Assessor at a salary of fifteen hundred
(61500.00) dollars per annum.
Such Deputy License Assessor shall give bond to the City ill

One License Inspector at a salary of ten hundred and eightj

One License Inspector at a salary of ten hunklred and. tuent4
( 1020.00) dollars per annum.

(61380.00) dollars per annum.
One bookkeeper at a celery of ten hundred and
(61080.00) dollars per annum.
Four clerks at a salary of twelve hundred (0.200.00) dot

Said salaries are to be paid monthly,as are the salaries
of other city officers.
