AN ORDI NANCE .
An ordinance establishing and fixing the official title of
the superintendents of the several departments of the city adminis4
tration.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. In the ordinances of Salt Lake City, and in all
official acts of the Board of Commissioners and its individual
members, the superintendent of the Department of Public Affairs
and Finance shall be officially known and designated as the Commis-i
sioner of Public Affairs and Finance, the superintendent of the
Department of Water Supply and Waterworks shall be known and desig-
stated as the Commissioner of Water Supply and Waterworks, the
superintendent of the Department of Public Safety shall be known
and designated as the dommissioner of Public Safety, the suporin-
tendent of the Department of Streets and Public Improvements shall
be known and designated as the Commissioner of Streets and Public
Improvements, and the superintendent of the Department of Parka
and Public Property shall be known and designated as the Commis-
sioner of Parks and Public Property.
SECTION E. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
