AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5709 of the Revised Ordi-
nances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1944, relating to streets.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 5709 of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1944, relating to streets, be and the same
is hereby amended to read as follows:
ttSEC. 5709. ADDITIONAL BOND. Whenever in the opinion of
the Board of Commissioners the bond provided for in the pre-
ceding section shall be"deemed inadequate for the protection
of the city or the public, said Beard may require the bond
to be in any sum not. exceeding $25,000.00."
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners,
it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants
of Salt Lake City that this ordinance become effective immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take ect upon its
first publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioner Sr-Salt Lake City,
Utah, on the 8th day of March , A.19
