A� r AN ORDINANCE Result AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Section 51-11-2 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, 1955, relating to Zoning, and fixing the boundaries of Use Districts. Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1: That Section 51-11-2 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1955, relating to Zoning and fixing the boundaries of the use districts, be, and the same hereby is, amended by adding in and to said section, four (4) new paragraphs to be known as Items 27, 28, 29 and 30, as follows: "ITEM 27. The following described real property in Commercial "C-1", Business "B-3" and Residential "R-6" districts as shown on the Use District Map is hereby changed to Commercial "C82" classification and the Use Map is hereby amended and changed accordingly: "Commencing at a point at the intersection of the east line of Redwood Road and the north line of 21st South Street, thence east 420 feet more or less to the west line of the Brighton -- Irrigation Canal, thence northeastwardly along the west line of the Brighton Irrigation Canal 3560 feet, more or less to e.,{ the south line of Van Buren Avenue extended, thence west 450 feet, more or less to a point on the west line of Van Burenevt,t_ extended 100 feet east of the east line of Redwood fpad, thence north 1350 feet, more or less to the west line of the Surplus Canal, thence northwesterly along the west line of the Surplus Canal 175 feet, more or less to the east line of Redwood Road, thence south 5050 feet more or less to the place of beginning, being parts of Block 2, Utah Southern Addition, Blks. 3, 4, 5, 6, 11 and 12 Prospect Park Subdivisions and Sec. 15, T. 1 S., R. 1 E., SLB&M." That said Use District Map is hereby changed and altered to show the above described tract of land as part of Commercial "C-2" District Classification. "ITEM 28. The following described real property in Residential "R-6" District, as shown on the Use District Map, is hereby changed to Commercial "C-2" classification and the Use Map is hereby amended and changed accordingly: 16 -2- Commencing at a point at the intersection of the section line between Sections 33 and 34, T1N, R1W, SLB&M, and the south line of 4th North Street extended, thence North 5220 feet more or less to the 'City Limits line, thence West 1320 feet, to the Nort4 South Center Line of the east one-half of Section 28, T1N., R1W, }'34jg17/1 thence South 5220 feet more or less to the south line of Fourth North extended, thence east along the south line of Fourth North Extended 1320 feet to the point of beginning." That said Use District Map is hereby changed and altered to show the above described tract of land as part of Commercial "C-2" District Classi- fication. "ITEM 29. The following described real property in Residential "R-6" district as shown on the Use District Map is hereby changed to Commercial "C-3" classification and the Use Map is hereby amended and changed accordingly. That said Use histrict Map is hereby changed and altered to show the above described tract of land as part of Commercial "C-3" District Classifi- cation. "ITEM 30. The following described real property in Residential "R-2" district as shown on the Use District Map is hereby changed to Business "B-3" District Classification and the Use Map is hereby amended and changed accordingly: "Commencing at a point on the east line of 13th East Street 164 feet, South of the south line of 21st South Street, said point being on the south boundary of the existing Business 'B-3" area, thence south 100 feet; thence north 84° and 15 minutes east 198.99 feet to the east line of Section 20, T1S, R1E, SLB&M, thence north 83.5 feet, thence West 198 feet to the place of beginning, being a part of the north-east quarter of the north-east quarter of Section 20, T1S, R1E, SLB&M." That said Use District Map is hereby changed and altered to show the above described tract of land as part of Business "B-3" District Classification. SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners, it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants of the Salt Lake City that this ordinance become effective immediately. SECTION 3.
