AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Sec. 30-1-1 of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to Organization of Police
Department, and repealing Sec. 30-1-2 of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah 1965, relating to salaries.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah:
SECTION 1. That Sec. 30-1-1 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt
Lake City, Utah 1965, relating to organization of the police depart-
ment be, and the same hereby is, amended by amending the subdivisions
relating to patrolmen, policewomen, stenographer and clerk typist,
each to read, respectively, as follows:
"Sec. 30-1-1. Organization. * * *

SECTION 2. That Sec. 30-1-2, of the Revised Ordinances of Salt
Lake City, Utah 1965, and all amendments thereto relating to salaries,

police department, be, and the same hereby are, repealed.
SECTION 3. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners it is
necessary to the peace, health and welfare of the inhabitants of Salt
Lake City that this ordinance become effective immediately.
SECTION #. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
