ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Section 25-4-3 of the Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, and the "Wage and Salary Administration
Program for Salt Lake City Corporation Employees," relating to
position titles, classifications and salary ranges for Salt Lake City
Corporation Attorneys.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 25-4-3 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt
Lake City, Utah, 1965, and the "Wage and Salary Administration Program
for Salt Lake City Corporation Employees," adopted by Bill No. 183 of
1978, amending Section 25-4-2 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake
City, Utah, 1965, relating to position titles and classifications and
salary ranges, he, and the same hereby is, amended as follows:
DELETE the position of Attorney IV, Level 3 of the Executive
Salary Schedule.
DELETE the positions of Attorneys II and III and Prosecutor
II, Level 4 of the Executive Salary Schedule.
DELETE the positions of Attorney I and Prosecutor I, Level 5
of the Executive Salary Schedule.
ADD the position of Senior Attorney I, Level. 3 of the
Executive Salary Schedule.
ADD the positions of Assistant City Attorney III and Assistant
City Prosecutor III, Level 4 of. the Executive Salary Schedule.
ADD the positions of Assistant City Attorney II and Assistant
City Prosecutor II, Level 5 of the Executive Salary Schedule.
ADD the positions of Assistant City Attorney I and Assistant
City Prosecutor I, Level 6 of the Executive Salary Schedule.
ADD the position of Senior Attorney II, Pay Class 326, Group
III, Professional and Paraprofessional Salary Schedule.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the City Council of Salt Lake City,
it is necessary to the peace, health and welfare of the inhabitants of
Salt Lake City that this ordinance become effective immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication and shall be retroactive in effect to February 1, 1980.
