Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah: SEC'BIUB 1. This tax is levied to defrey the expenee of grading, guttering and curbing and paving with asphalt (said asphalt pavement to be sixt; (60) feat wide between curbs and nine and one:elf (9-1/2) inches (thick between South Temple and. Fourth South Streets; fifty (50) feet wide between curbs and nine and 1/2 (9-1/2) inches thick between Fourth South and Ninth South Streets; and forty (40) feet wide beteeei curbs and nine and 1/2 (9-1/2) inches thick between Ninth South Street and the city limits), the portions of said :Ninth East Street herein- before and hereinafter described to be especially affected and bene- fited by said improvement, end it in hereby adjudged, determined and established that said property will be especially benefited thereby to the full amount of the tax hereby levied, and sseid pc reels of land are hereby assessed at an equal and. uniform rate in accordance with the linear foot fronte e upon said portions of saki street -Fronting upon and to a. depth of twenty-five (25i feet bebh therefrom, and the tax hereby levied end to be assessed upon acid parcel,, of Deed is fifty-seven thousand seventy-two and 3/100 G57,072.37) dollars; nineteen thousand three Hundred ninety and 82/100 ( 19,390.82) dollars, or four and 896673/1,000,00 ( 4.896673) dollars per front or linear foot of abetting property for roadway 50 feet wide, there being 3960 i feet of abutting property within the bousdexiee of the -dote, ',locks11 and street above mentioned in said diet:clot; end thirty-seven thousan i six hundred eighty-one and 51/100 (, 37,681.51) dollars, or two and* -3- i 9469346/10,000,0C° ( ;2 94,69346) dollars yor front or linear foot of lir abuttinn property for roedway 40 feet wide, there hein 12786 feat of abutting property within the boundaries of the lots, blocks and street above mentioned in said district, which is the total cost and cost pezi front foot of said pavement, according to the contract entered into for the performarce of said work and making; said imp:rovemant, with 1 2.
