AN ORDINANCE.
An ordinance amending and re-enacting Section 385 of the Re-
vised Ordinances of Salt Lake City of 1903.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
, SECTION 1. That Section 385 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt
lska City of 1903, be, and the same htreby is amen0d and.re-enact,
ad do as tp, read as follows: -
SECTION 385. PEDDLERS ArD RAWTYRS. it shall be .inilauflal

or to offer for sale, barter or -4itkchange aretaikj any g*Elt,p
or farm produce, fruits, butter, ggs, polilr , fih,

11 along any street, without first obtaining a license so to do; ,
orovided, it shall be unlawful, under any circumstances, for
any person to peddle or hawk any goods, wares or merchandise,
in, upon or along any of the following streets, to-wit: South ,
Temple,Street from Second East Street to First West Street;
First South Street from Second East Street to First West.
Street; Second South Street from Second East Street to First
West Street; Third South Street from Second East Street to
First West Street; State Street from North Temple Street to,
Fourth South Street; East TemplemStreet from North Temple
Street to Fourth South Street; West Temple Street from First
North Street to Fourth South Street; and provided further-,
that no license shall be granted to peddle or hawk in, upon or
along such streets.
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances j conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such, conflict.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon approval.
