Green -- /_ 429 Mr. Chairman Result AN ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Sections 1855 and 1870 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, 1920, relating to traffic on streets. Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That Sections 1855 and 1870 be and the same are hereby amended so as to read as follows: SECTION 1855. CONGESTED DISTRICT. There is hereby designated a congested district, which shall be all streets and all parts of streets within the following boundaries, to-wit, the side of South Temple Street, a point mid- way between the east side of se street and the west side of Second East Street, the south side of Fourth South Street and the west side of West Temple Street. SECTION 1870. HOW LONG MAY STAND. No person shall between the hours of nine o'clock A. M. and six o'clock P.M., except on Sundays and legal holidays, allow any vehicle to stand longer than two hours upon any street in the congested district. SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners, it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants of Salt Lake City that this ordinance become effective on and after January 3rd, 1921.
