AN ORDINANCE .
An ordinance amending and re-enacting Section 378 of the
Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City of 1903.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 378 of the Revised Ordinances of Sal
Lake City of 1903, be, and the same is hereby amended and re-enact'd
so as to read a.s follows:.
SECTION 378. LIVERY STABLES. A livery staijle keeper is
one who keeps for publ,io,bire upon call horses care*es, an
horse.drawn vehielet;,•,bttt this definition shall not iclude }1
persons, firms or corporations who keep for public hike. vane,
drays, express or baggage wagons, and other vehicles of like
character. A livery stable keeper's license may be issued
upon the applicant filing with his application a statement
under oath, showing the number of animals and vehicles of all
descriptions to be kept by him. The yearly license charge fo
livery stable keepers shall be as follows:
For 35 or more vehicles, with animals 000.00
For 20 and less than 35 vehicles, with animals - - 100.00
For 10 and less than 20 vehicles, with animals - - 60.00
For 5 and less than 10 vehicles, with animals- - - 30.00
For less than 5 vehicles, with animals, 15.00
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take of aet a day after
