An ordinance levying a tax and for the assessment of property on!
, both sides of Hazel Court between Fourth 3oath and. Fifth South Streets,
Iin Sewer District No. 1, for the construction of a sewer.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That the City Council doer hereby levy the tax and
peoyide for the assessment of the same upon the property hereinafter
! described in Sewer District No. 1, for the construction of a serer,
' to-wit:
In Lots 3 and 6, Block 33, Plat "B", a.buttiag on both sides of
Hazel Court between Fourth South and Fifth South Streets.
This tax is levied to defray the expense of constructing a vitriif
fied pipe sewer eight (6) inches in diameter upon the portions of

said street opposite the property hereinbefore and hereinafter des-
cribed to be especially affected and benefited by said improvement,
hand it is hereby adjudged, determined and established that said pr•opel-

ty will be especially benefited thereby to the full amount of the taxi
i1hereby levied, and said parcels of land are hereby assessed at en
equal and uniform rate in accordance with the linear foot frontage '
[upon said portion of said street fronting upon and to a depth of
'plenty-five (25) feet back therefrom, and the tax hereby levied and to
be assessed upon said parcels, of land is seven hundred fifty-nine and[
92/100 (059.92) dollars, or 92/100 ( 0.92) dollars per front or
linear foot of abutting property, there being 826 feet of abutting
roperty within the boundaries of the lots, block and street above
ienticned in said district, which is the tot -1 coat and cost per front;
foot of said seF;s, according to the coarsest entered into for the

1 SECTION 2. Said tax shall become and be delinquent in five equal
yearly installments, with interest on the whole sum unpaid at the rat
;of six per cent per annum, payable at the time each installment is
due, to-wit: One-fifth thereof one year after the approval of the
;ordinance con firming the levy of the tux or the payment for such im-

Iprover.,ent; one-fifth thereof in two years after such approval; one-
hfifth thereof in three years after such approval; one-fifth thereof
!'in four years after inch approval; and o.ne-fifth, thereof in five years
after such approval. One or more of said installments, in the order 1
